Marilyn M Bond

Marilyn M. Bond age 81 of Caldwell, OH passed away Monday May 27, 2013 at her home. She was born February 11, 1932 in Noble County, OH a daughter of the late Harry B. "Ben" and Mary I. Johnson Davis. Marilyn attended the Caldwell Free Methodist Church and retired from the State Library of Ohio, after 25 years of service in 1991. She could often be found tending to her flowers and garden and watching her birds. She loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister J. Kathy Sherman and a grandson Michael Shane Hall. She was loved and will be missed by her family, husband Tom Bond of the home, whom she married February 12, 1955; 1 daughter Denise (Edsel) Young of Caldwell; 2 sons Jeffrey (Kerri) Bond of Senecaville, OH and Tim (Cathy) Bond of Caldwell; 7 grandchildren Shelli, Kelsey, Jamie Noah, Benjamin, Kaci and Treavor; 12 great-grandchildren Brooke, Britney, Blake, Karlee, Khloee, Christian, Mason, Chase, Grayson, Trinity, Temperance and Braxton; 1 brother Gary (Evelyn) Davis of Caldwell; 3 Sisters-In-Law Evelyn Rayner of Ava, OH, Beverly (Butch) McKee of Caldwell and April (Gene) Winberg of North Carolina. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Thursday May 30, 2013 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Friday May 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dave Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery in Caldwell.
