M. Darlene Jenkins

M. Darlene Jenkins age 85, of Cambridge, OH passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in Cambridge. She was born February 27, 1937 in Dayton, OH a daughter of the late James Harold and Jessie Cope Kirkendall.

She will be remembered as a caretaker by her family and someone who enjoyed cleaning. Her true passion was always her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brother Jimmie (Mary) Kirkendall; sisters Judy Givens and Nancy (Amil) Choma.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Jeff K. Jenkins and Darla (Dusty) Clewell all of Cambridge; grandchildren Dustin (Ronniel) of Seattle, WA and Dan (Susan) Clewell of Mansfield, OH; great-grandchildren Anna, Jordan, Sam, and Olivia; sister Debi (Wayne) Maggard of Dayton, OH; brother-in-law Edward Givens of Vandalia, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel in Northwood Cemetery, 1399 N. 10th Street, Cambridge, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will conclude visitation Thursday, September 1, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel, with Pastor Evan Greathouse officiating. Interment will follow in the mausoleum.
