Louella I. Macenko, age 77, of Caldwell, passed away Friday (May 2, 2008) at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell. She was born January 10, 1931 in Noble County, OH a daughter to the late Roman and Edna Sorg Crum.
Louella was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Caldwell, where she participated in the Catholic Women's Club. She was a loving homemaker for her family and enjoyed spending her time with them. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and sharing in their school activities.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a Sister Mary Rose Saling and Granddaughter Jane Arnold.
Surviving are Three Daughters Diane (Luke) Arnold of Marietta, OH, Elaine Martin of Ossian, IN and Georgene (Jim) Mizik of Caldwell; One Son Dan (Arlene) Macenko of Lower Salem; Five Grandchildren Angie (John) Sahlbom of Kettering, OH, Mike Arnold and Fiancee Amy Hill of Marietta, Jeremy Mizik of Caldwell, Alicia Mizik and Fiance Mike Foreman all of Caldwell and Marc (Kim) Macenko of Durham, NC; Three Great Grandchildren Josh and Maggie Sahlbom and Matthew Macenko; Two Sisters Marge Saling and Lucille "Boots" Archer both of Caldwell. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends will be received Sunday (May 4, 2008) from 2 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724 with a Vigil Service held at 7:30 pm. A Funeral Liturgy, with Mass, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Caldwell, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris Officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Caldwell.
