Linda Sue Mincks

Linda Sue Mincks age 75, of Macksburg, OH passed away Sunday, March 1, 2020 at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell, OH. She was born April 27, 1944 in Marietta, OH a daughter of the late Edwin L. and Louise A. Gessel Mincks.

She was a member of the Macksburg United Methodist Church. She was employed for the Summit Acres Nursing Home for close to 40 years. She was a good aunt, spending much of her time helping to care for her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 2 brothers John Mincks and Edwin Richard Mincks; nephew Nicholas N. Mincks and brother-in-law Harry McAuley.

Those left to cherish her memory are 4 sisters Mary (Rolland) Moore of Ava, OH, Janet McAuley of Macksburg, Ruth Ann (Ken) Kramer of Pittsburgh, PA, and Beverly (Dick) Ogle of Dexter City, OH; brother Bill (Jan) Mincks of Macksburg; sister-in-law Phyllis Mincks of Beverly, OH. She is also survived by several special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Shafer Cemetery near Macksburg.
