Linda Sue Lothes

Linda Sue Lothes, age 69, of Beverly, OH passed on Monday, January 20, 2025. She was born April 3, 1955 in Parkersburg, WV. She was the daughter of the late Dale and Donna Secrest Lothes and grew up on their farm in Jackson Township in the southern part of Noble County, OH.

Linda attended Dexter City Elementary School and Caldwell High School, where she played tenor sax and oboe in the band. After she graduated in 1973, she attended Radford College in Roanoke, VA and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Home Economics in 1976.

She was a salesperson for various products, a real estate agent, a scuba diving instructor, a private investigator for scuba accidents, and a title agent and land man for the oil and gas industry. She held a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoyed yoga and paddle boarding. She had been a member of the Noble County Business and Professional Women and the Red Hatters.

Surviving are her sisters Melody Lothes of Lakeville, MA, Abby (Randy) Merrow of Beverly, OH and Carolyn Johnson of Marietta, OH; nieces Danielle (Greg) Erb of Beverly, OH, Heather (Jeremy) Hesson of Beverly, OH, and Lotus McLaurin of Los Angeles, CA; nephews Joe Sayre of Marietta, OH, Cody (Lacey) Sayre of Parkersburg, WV, Dylan (Hope) Sayre of Beverly, OH, as well as twelve grand-nieces and nephews.

No service will be held at this time. The family plans to hold a private remembrance gathering at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s Memory to the charity of your choosing.
