Larry Lee OBrien age 68 of Belle Valley, Ohio passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at his home. He was born April 15, 1947 in Canton, Ohio a son of the late John Joseph and Elouise Justine Keyser OBrien.

Larry retired from Hi Way Paving in Hilliard, OH after many years of service. He will always be remembered for the passion he had for working on cars. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt rabbits and raccoons, with his favorite beagles. He could often be found attended flea markets to see what he could find.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Ronnie OBrien.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Janet Carpenter OBrien, whom he married December 19, 1972; 2 sons Steven Lee (Tecarrie "Tar") OBrien of Byesville, OH and Mathew (Emily) OBrien of Zanesville, OH; grandchildren Kadence OBrien, Madison OBrien, Shane OBrien and Jamison OBrien; mother-in-law Ila Carpenter of Caldwell. He is also survived by his "Caldwell Family" and the rest of Momma Ilas Babies Janeen Wise, Jane Smith and Liz Dimmerling.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 11, 2015 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Monday, October 12, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Hiramsburg Cemetery in Hiramsburg, OH. Following the committal service, friends and family are invited to the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley for a meal and time of fellowship.
