Larry W. Leonard

Larry W. Leonard age 59, of Caldwell, OH passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH. He was born February 5, 1959 in Zanesville, OH a son of Shirley (Ernie) Wickham Jenkins of Zanesville and the late Bill Leonard.

Larry was retired as an equipment operator for the IUOE Local #18. Following retirement, he was always quick to help out a friend using his skills as an operator. He was a member of the American Legion Post #29 in Zanesville for over 28 years. He enjoyed camping, family gatherings, watching NASCAR, and spending time working in his garage. He will always be remembered as someone who never met a stranger and a man with a tremendous work ethic, he always stayed busy working.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law Gail A. Feldner.

Those left to cherish his memory in addition to his mother, are his wife Sandra J. Feldner Leonard whom he married August 31, 2002; children Tiffany Leonard of Caldwell, Jeremy (Elizabeth Walker) Leonard of Caldwell, Kayla (Johnny) Burgy of Parkersburg, WV, Camron (Rhealan) Leonard of Tennessee, Victoria (Dennis Archer) Feldner, and Samantha (Carl) Slevin of Belle Valley, OH; 19 grandchildren Justice, Santana, Colton, Ein, Blake, Brady, Quinton, Waylon, Mea, Tatum, Remingtonn, Clayton, Christian, Jaimason, Gracie, Aidrian, Alexzandra, David, and Acen; sister Jill (Danny) Hayes of Zanesville; step-sisters Connie, Terry, and Kelly; step-brothers Tommy and Troy; mother-in-law Donna J. Feldner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, January 21, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Hiramsburg Cemetery.
