Laly D. Nixon

Laly D. Nixon age 64, of Caldwell, OH passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. He was born April 23, 1957, in Pell City, AL a son of the late Laly Dalton Nixon and Mary Sue Green Kennard.

He enjoyed singing, watching television, and collecting coins. He could often be found watching sports and Nascar, especially watching his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather Robert Kennard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of forty-two years, Joanne Fittje Nixon whom he married on November 4, 1979; 2 daughters Michelle (Dennis) DiMatteo of Ocala, FL and Shawna Storms of Cleveland, OH; one son Justin (Nicole) Nixon of Dexter City, OH; 3 grandchildren Justice, Jior and Blaire; two sisters Nina (Doc) Kennedy and Joan Burnsworth. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation was observed with a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 PM at the Community Center in Caldwell, with Doug Saling officiating..
