Karl Calvin Cox

Karl Calvin Cox age 51, of Caldwell, OH passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, OH surrounded by his family. He was born June 10, 1966 in Cambridge, OH a son of Margie L. Addis and the late Edward Cox.

Karl was an avid fan of movies starring Bruce Lee and Steven Seagal. He loved cars, especially his purple Dodge Dart, motorcycles and Western Star Semis. He enjoyed listening to classic metal music, playing darts, and cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers and West Virginia Mountaineers.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother Kevin Dean Cox.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother Margie L. Addis of Byesville; 2 daughters Tera L. Ross of Byesville and Amber D. Cox of Greenville, MS; grandchildren Christopher, Grayson, Zariah, Zyler, and Zabrinna; 1 sister Cheryl A. (Dan) Davis of Lancaster, OH; brother Alan (Tanya) Cox of Caldwell; sister-in-law Evelyn "Lynn" Cox of Cambridge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews Adam (Jill) Winberg, Alicia Winberg, Julie (Jacob) Mason, Luke (Michelle) Cox, Jessica (Josh) Blasenhauer, and Ashley Dutro, as well as numerous friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist Woody Biggs officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Cemetery in Caldwell, OH.
