Joyce Ann Stock

Joyce Ann Cisler Stock went to her eternal home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the age of 77. She was born on June 19, 1946 in Canton, Ohio. Joyce was the daughter of the late Lewis D. and Clarice Lawrence Cisler.

She attended Ohio Northern University and graduated from Kent State University with a B.A. in elementary education in 1968. She taught elementary school for many years in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Joyce was an active member of the Girl Scouts, International Order of Jobs Daughters, her church youth group and Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She was a devout Christian who loved to read and study the Bible and was a member of Southland Baptist Church, Belton, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnell D. Stock in August 2018 and her brother, John Cisler in February 2018.

Joyce is survived by her children, James Stock of Nokomis, FL and Bethany Woodson Roth of Raymore, MO, six grandchildren: Sami, Anna and Josie Stock and Tucker, Riley and Thatcher Woodson, and a sister, Janet Cisler Dodge of Burlington, NC. She will also be missed and remembered with love by relatives and friends whose many lives she touched.

A celebration of Joyces life will be held on Saturday, November 4 at Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. Visitation begins at 10:00 and the Service will follow at 11:00. Her burial will be at Sharon Cemetery, in Sharon, Ohio.
