John N. Cisler

John N. Cisler, age 95, passed away on May 10, 2023. He was born in Sharon Twp., OH on August 25, 1927, to the late John and Vera Cisler. John was a patriotic man and a proud WWII Navy Veteran. He was a self-employed business owner of C & O Distributing Company for many years. John was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church and enjoyed deer hunting and fishing on Lake Erie. His greatest joy was time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Narelle Cisler; children, Randall (Beckie) Cisler, Brent (Jan) Cisler, Ronda (Michael) Jones; grandchildren, Allison Criger, Brett Cisler, Ryan Jones, Lauren Wert; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Jean Weekley.

The family will receive friends for a graveside service on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 12:30 PM at Sharon Cemetery, with Rev. William Pickenpaugh officiating. Burial will follow with military honors conducted by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sharon Cemetery Assn. in care of Judy Baker, 15023 McConnelsville Road, Caldwell, Ohio 43724.
