John David Campbell

Life Legacy John David Campbell, age 59 of Pleasant City, OH passed away Tuesday, November 1st, 2011 at his residence. He was born October 28th, 1952 in Guernsey County, OH a son of the late Donald and Martha Shaw Campbell. John served and protected his nation in the US Army. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed practicing throwing his knives and hatchets, as well as riding his ATV's. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and last but not least his dog Buckey. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 2 Brothers Charlie and Harold Campbell; 2 Sisters Trudy and Sherry Campbell. He will be missed by his family, 3 Sons Randy (Bethany) Campbell of New Concord, OH, Greg Campbell of Ravenna, OH and Jonathan Campbell (Fiancee Jennifer Postlethwait) of Byesville, OH; 2 Grandchildren Dakota and Austin Campbell; 3 Sisters Sue Campbell of Cambridge, OH, Mona Kay Campbell of Byesville and Elizabeth Jane (Billy) Hicks of Cincinnati, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Saturday, November 5th, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Memorial Service will be observed following visitation at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Ed Frank Officiating. Military Funeral Honors will follow and be presented by the Noble County Veteran Service Organizations.
