Jim R. Brown

James R. "Jim" Brown, age 57 of Caldwell, OH passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH. He was born February 10, 1955 in Logan, OH a son of late J.R. and Mary Marguerite Derr Brown Sr. Jim was the owner and operator of J.R.B. III Trucking LLC in Caldwell, OH. Along with spending time with his family and friends Jim was an avid motorcycle rider that loved his Harleys. He was a proud member of the NRA and could often be found participating and helping out at the local truck pulls. He was an avid classic car enthusiast and spent much time restoring trucks. Jim was rarely spotted without his long time companion Cocoa his chocolate lab. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a Sister and Brother-In-Law Bonnie Jean and Lewis Glidden and a nephew Ryan Clark. He was loved and will be missed by his family, Wife Karen Altier Brown of the home; 2 Daughters Mandy Brown of Warsaw, OH and Jayme Brown of the home; 2 Step Children Joshua Jago of Coshocton, OH and Jessica Jago of the home; 3 Grandchildren Nichalas Grimmett, Kiara Brown and Aizlynn Jago; 2 Sisters Diana (Matt) Svercek of Caldwell and Melissa (Charles) Clark of Caldwell; 2 Brothers Joseph R. (Stana) Brown Jr. of Sarahsville, OH and John "Tom" (Teresa) Brown of Caldwell, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Saturday March 10, 2012 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will be held Sunday March 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Kenneth E. Perkins III Officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery in Caldwell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Central Region Office-NOBL, 5555 Frantz Road, Dublin, OH 43017 or the National Kidney Foundation, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive Suite 260, Columbus, OH 43231-8617.
