Jerry K. Robinson, 81, of Sarahsville, entered his eternal rest on August 5, 2026, at The Arthur G. James Cancer Center, Columbus, surrounded by his loving family. He was born October 20, 1944 in Sarahsville, OH, a son of the late James Ralph and Waneda Bonnie Jones Robinson.

After graduating from Sarahsville High School, Jerry worked for ODOT as a project supervisor, retiring in 1995. He also maintained Robinson’s Polled Herefords cattle farm for many years. Family and work were important but knowing Jesus Christ was the most important. Jerry tried to demonstrate his faith and love for Jesus daily.

Jerry was a member of Salesville Church of Faith, where he was an usher and served several terms on the Board. He collected scale model tractors and license plates from states, countries & Ford dealers. He enjoyed traveling and he golfed in all fifty states. In his younger days he enjoyed hunting. He especially enjoyed spending time with family & working on the farm with his son and grandsons.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Wikander Robinson; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Robinson; brothers, James D. Robinson & William Robinson; brothers-in-law, Larry Lanning, David Wikander, Ray Bonar, Jerry Simpson, James Wikander, Barry Snyder; sisters-in-law Sally (Hill) Robinson, Shelva (Wheeler) Robinson, Sandy Wikander.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ellen M. Robinson, whom he married March 10, 2001; sons, Jerry K. (Mary) Robinson, II; David A. (Kris) Robinson; Donald J. Dinty (Angie) Robinson; stepson, Jason E. (Lacey) Lenhart; stepdaughter, Kristen M. (Terry) Gilbert; grandchildren, Beth Ann (Jonathan) Bean, Katelyn (Alex) Flaaen; Jerry, III, Emilee (Shawn) Hipp, Jonathan, Michael, Dolan (Dannee), Colin (Lexi), Lane Robinson; step grandchildren, Cloey (Dylan), Ethan, Lily, Sidney Lenhart, Kadence & Kolten Gilbert; great grandchildren Danielle, Nathaniel, Timothy & new to the crew baby Bean (coming in November); Joseph Flaaen; Riggs Robinson; brother, Larry L. Robinson; sisters Dianna (Terry) Hague, Joan Lanning; brothers-in-law, Stephen (Gayle) Veselenak, Dan (Sandy) Wikander, John Wikander, Steve Wikander, Tom (Laurie) Wikander; sisters-in-law Ruth Bonar, Mary Simpson, Sharon (Terry) McConnell, Sara Jane (Steve) Bond, Anna (Mark) Hildebrand, Beth Snyder, and Pauline Robinson. He also leaves cousins, many nieces and nephews (special niece Kelly McQuain), and great-nieces & great-nephews. He also leaves his special furry friend & constant companion, Tippy.

The family will receive friends for visitation Friday, August 7, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Ephraim Cemetery.
