Jeannette B. Sanford

Jeannette B. Sanford age 89, of Caldwell, OH passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2024 peacefully at her home. She was born April 16, 1934 a daughter of the late Paul McCune and Louise Wagner McCune Brewster.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting and craftwork. Jeanette opened her home as a foster parent, resulting in many children whom she is proud to call her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Richard George Sanford; son Samuel D. Sanford; foster daughter Susan Hill; stepfather Phillip C. Brewster.

Those left to cherish her memory, are her children James Sanford of Caldwell, Janie (Jerry) Atha of Camden, OH, and Toy Jason Sanford of Caldwell; foster children Duane (Vickie) Moore of Stockport, OH, Dale Moore of Stockport, OH, Dean Moore of Ava, OH, Debbie Moore of Florida, and Diane Moore of Indiana. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Cremation will be observed, and the family will receive friends for a memorial visitation Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to assist the family, c/o Chandler Funeral Home.
