Janis L Tarman

Janis L. Tarman age 57, of Summerfield, OH passed away Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell, OH. She was born December 1, 1955 in Fredericksburg, VA a daughter of Katherine Leitch Blake of Fredericksburg, VA and the late Franklin Blake.

Janis gained a passion for flying from her father and was a pilot for over 24 years. She loved animals, especially her 2 dogs, Pete and Maggie. It was well known that every stray cat that appeared was swiftly adopted and cared for, by Janis.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by a nephew Tony Franzello.

She was loved and will be missed by her family, husband Gary Tarman of the home, whom she married January 1, 1993; 1 Sister Debby (Sam) Franzello of Fredericksburg.

Cremation will be observed with scattering to be held at a later date. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
