Janice Ann Weeks

Janice Ann Weeks, age 73 of Belle Valley, OH passed away Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born July 16, 1944 in Dayton, OH a daughter of the late Luther T. and Hazel Bowling Howard.

She was faithful in attending the Main Street Church of Christ and gospel singing events. She enjoyed playing cards and traveling for many years. She always looked forward to her monthly Avon meetings with her friends. She hardly missed a day calling and checking in on all of her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Larry M. Weeks, whom she married April 1, 1988 and who passed away in 1993; 2 sons Carl L. "Moagie" Moag and Deano Kiggans II; grandson Ben Moag; sister Wanda F. (Dale) Gardner; 3 brothers Herman Howard, Darrel Glin Howard, and infant brother Boyd Howard; special friend Carol Khune.

Those left to cherish her memory are son Lloyd (Teresa) Moag of Sarahsville; daughter Susie (Charles) Poling of Caldwell; 6 grandchildren Lindsey (Josh) Rakes, Charlie (Megan) Poling, Caleb Poling, Hannah Moag, Clay Poling, and Claire "Libby" Poling; great-grandchildren Jocelynn, Rylie, Breanna, Levi, Caroline, Laken, Lane, and Charlie; sister-in-law Patricia Howard of Canton, OH; friends for many years Judy Bates and Denise Teeters; faithful Dog Bella. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 11, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Evangelist Aaron Seiler officiating. Burial will follow at Dudley Cemetery.
