James Allen Whetstone

Life Legacy James Allen Whetstone, age 82, of Caldwell, Ohio passed away Wednesday February 15, 2012. He was born May 21, 1929, son of the late Harry B. and Bonnie Fleshman Whetstone. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers; Lloyd, Harold and Paul Whetstone and one sister Mary Cook. Surviving is his wife, Wava Harper Whetstone, whom he married September 27, 1949. His daughters; Victoria and her husband George (Nick) Scaglione of Canton, Ohio and Valeria and her fiance Donald (Buck) Weaver of Caldwell. Three sisters; Opal Harper of Caldwell, Edith Warne of Salesville, and Ruth Sahlin of New Straightsville. Two grandchildren; Jennifer (Mike) Potter and Jason (Kelly) Scaglione. Two step-grand daughters; Danielle and Brittany Weaver. Two great-grandchildren; James Scaglione and Isabella Potter. Three step great-grandchildren; Jesse (Stephanie) Potter, Cassie Potter and Aden Sandmann. There will be no visitation or services as Mr. Whetstone has generously gifted his body to The Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to The American Heart Association
