James 'Greg' Simmons

James G. "Greg" Simmons age 65, of Caldwell, OH formerly of Monticello, IN passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at his residence. He was born September 29, 1957 in Monticello, a son of the late James H. and Ellen R. Sharp Simmons.

Greg loved the arts. He was an avid reader, enjoyed music, drawing, and philosophy.

Those left to cherish his memory are 2 sons Ian (Mary) Linnell-Simmons of Washington D.C. and Adam (Allison) Simmons of Toronto, Canada; grandchildren Sebastian and Arthur; 2 sisters Kathy (Dennis) Paul of Burnettsville, IN, and Lisa (Marty Royer) DeWitt of Monticello; his significant other Vita Luque of Caldwell and their dog Gretchen.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services held at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
