Biography Her Legacy... Irma Connolly, age 71 of Caldwell, Ohio passed away Wednesday morning December 13, 2006 at her home, following a brief battle with cancer. She was born on February 9, 1935 in Calhoun County, W.V. a daughter of the late Ralph and May Boice Connolly.
Irma had a long career as a waitress in various restaurants, Travelers Restaurant in Parkersburg, W.V., The Gun Room at The Lafayette Hotel in Marietta and most recently Lori's Restaurant in Caldwell. Irma dedicated her life to rescuing and caring for lost or abandoned animals, mostly cats and dogs.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three sisters, Irene Connolly, Carolyn Rogers and Vada Kovaleski; two brothers, Gerry and Dan Connolly.
Her Family... Irma is survived by two brothers, Neal Connolly of Caldwell and Frank Connolly of Chatham, Illinois; three sisters Inez Mullins of Athens, Ohio, Ina Blatt of Kent, Ohio and Katy Chapin of McConnelsville, Ohio.
Her Farewell Service... There will be no formal calling hours or memorial service. Irma generously donated her body to science in the hope that she may help in some way to find a cure for this disease. Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH is assisting the family locally.
