Irene Leona Velosky, age 71 of Belle Valley, OH passed away Monday, May 3rd, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 31st, 1938 in Belle Valley a daughter of the late Frank and Leona Morelli Bania. Irene attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Belle Valley. She was employed at Noble Water Company for 34 years. She was a teacher's aid at Belle Valley Elementary School and was a precinct worker for the elections for many years. She was an avid Bingo player and loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence J. Velosky whom she married March 11th, 1973 and who passed November 5th, 2003; Daughter Melodie Jo Velosky Gillett; Two Brothers Michael Bania Sr. and Joe Bania; One Sister Valera Smalley. She will be missed by her family Two Daughters Tammy R. Ansberry of Zanesville, OH and Michelle L. (Jamie) Reeves of Belle Valley; Four Grandchildren Zachary Hupp, Kinsley Ansberry, Michaela and James Reeves; Two Sisters Goldie (Gene) Shuller of Belle Valley and Mary (Emanuel) McCoy of Pleasant City, OH; One Brother Ord (Phyllis) Rippeth of Cambridge, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Powell Officiating. Burial will follow in Hoskinsville Cemetery near Belle Valley.
