Harold D. Sturm Jr.

Harold D. "Sonny" Sturm Jr. age 69, of Belpre, OH passed away Sunday evening May 21, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 4, 1948 in Marietta, Ohio, a son of the late Harold D. Sturm Sr. and Betty Jean Harris Lightfritz. Sonny enjoyed working outside, especially on cars. He was truly happy when he was spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his step-father Harvey Lightfritz; brothers John "Pig" Sturm, Steve Sturm, and Joe Lightfritz; his first wife Cheryl Sturm. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 30 years Cathy Sturm; son Bryan (Tammy) Sturm of Lower Salem, OH; daughters Denise (Brian) Ward of Belpre, Jennifer (Daniel) Offenberger and Christina (Danny) Smith all of Marietta, OH; step-sons Jeff (Jessie) Williamson and Glen (Christina) Williamson; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Donnie Lightfritz of Parkersburg, WV and Bob Sturm; sisters Marsha Sturm of Parkersburg, Tina Thomas, Tara Lightfritz of Marietta, OH, and Debbie (Gary) Davis of Newport, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends. Cremation will be observed with no additional services held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
