Harold Anderson

His Legacy....Harold F. "Freddie" Anderson, age 73 of Caldwell went home to be with the Lord Saturday (Dec 2, 2006) morning at his home, after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was born April 15, 1933 in Noble County, Ohio a son of the late Fred and Emma James Anderson. Freddie graduated from Caldwell High School in the Class of 1951, served and protected our freedom in the U.S Army and retired from the Dana Corporation in 1996. He was a member of Sharon Lodge #136 F. & A.M., United Steel Workers Union Local #4836, First Baptist Church of Caldwell, Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department. He was also active in the Right to Life Organization. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by Brother Paul Anderson and Great Grandson Kaden S. Hesson. His Family.....Surviving is his wife Judy Anderson of the home, who he married Aug. 11, 1957; Daughter Cathy (Joe) Hesson of Zanesville, Ohio; Son Bryan (Theresa) Anderson of Delaware, Ohio; Four Grandchildren Craig (Brandi) Hesson of Marietta, Ohio, Brad (Stephanie) Hesson of Norwich, Ohio, Elizabeth (Steve) McPeck of Zanesville, Ohio and Ryan Hesson of North Carolina; 7 Great Grandchildren; Sister Dorothy McMahon of Cambridge; Also Survived by several nieces and nephews. His Farewell Service.....Friends will be received Monday (Dec. 4, 2006) from 2 to 8 pm at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio with Masonic services being observed at 7:30 pm. Funeral Services will he held Tuesday at 11:00 am in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Jacobs, Rev. Brian King and Rev. Carmen Copeland Officiating. Burial will follow in Dudley Cemetery near Caldwell where military graveside services will be conducted by the Caldwell VFW Post # 4721 & Belle Valley American Legion Post # 641. The family Requests memorial contributions be directed to the Missions Program at the First Baptist Church, P.O. Box #272, Caldwell, Ohio 43724.
