Glen Huffman

Glen R. "Dick" Huffman, age 67 of Caldwell, died Friday evening (Aug. 18, 06) at his residence. He was born Dec. 21, 1938 in Caldwell, OH a son of the late Glen C. and Alice L. Tucker Huffman. Dick was an avid Nascar fan, enjoyed working on derby cars and mowing the grass. He served to protect his country in the U.S. Army and was a past member of the United Steel Workers Union Local #4836 in Caldwell. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers Lloyd, Terry and Timothy Huffman. Surviving are his wife Lena "Mickie" Huffman of the home, whom he married March 8th, 1980; 2 Sons Neal "Rich" (Connie) Huffman of Caldwell and Tony (Kristi) Huffman of Sarahsville; 2 Step-Daughters Linda (Mike) Reed of Sarahsville and Rhonda (Edwin) Tilton of Sarahsville; 5 Grandchildren Taylor and Tasha Huffman of Caldwell and Racheal, Tyler and Lindsey Huffman of Sarahsville; 4 Sisters Ruth (Bob) Hague of East Union, Arlene (Ray) McCallister of Cambridge, Cathy (Mike) Moore of Caldwell and Missy (Rich) Trisler of East Union; Special Grand Nephew Shawn Huffman of Caldwell; Also Survived by several nieces and nephews; 2 babies Sassy Mae and Angel. Friends will be received Monday (Aug 21, 2006) from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Slay Officiating. Burial will follow in East Union Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the Caldwell VFW Post # 4721 and the Belle Valley American Legion Post #641. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed for the family to Peoples Bank c/o the Huffman Family, 415 Main Street, Caldwell, OH 43724.
