Geraldine " Jerri " M. Leasure

Geraldine "Jerri" Leasure age 77, of Senecaville, OH passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, OH. She was born August 22, 1937 in Washington County, OH a daughter of the late Lester and Irene Siley Marshall.

Jerri retired from the former DANA Corporation plant in Caldwell. For many years she enjoyed camping and boating on Seneca Lake. She could often be found spending many good times with her cousins. She was an animal lover and her dogs meant the world to her. But none of that stacked up to the joy she found in spending time with her grandchildren, especially her great-grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are, husband Argyll Leasure whom she married July 28, 1990; 2 daughters Kris (Alan) Wigant of Sumter, SC and Kathy (Sam) Schafer of Sarahsville, OH; 1 step-son Bryan (Teresa) Leasure of Carlisle, OH; Grandchildren Tori (Stephen) Thompson, Tyler (Kenzi) Schafer, Danny (Kerry) Wigant, Toni (Andy) Wigant and Nick Wigant; step-grandchildren Ryan (Sonya) Leasure and Janis Leasure; great-grandchildren Lyla Thompson, Karis Thompson, Emri Schafer and Nora Wigant; step-great-grandchildren Rylan, Lucas and Kylee.

Friends will be received Friday, September 5, 2014 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Eastern Cemetery in Summerfield, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Guernsey County Dog Shelter, 62824 Bennett Avenue, Cambridge, OH 43725.
