Georgene M Mizik

Georgene M. Mizik, age 53 of Caldwell, OH, went to be with the Lord early Wednesday Morning, August 12, 2009 at her home following a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 27, 1955 in Noble County, OH a daughter of the late George A. and Louella I. Crum Macenko. Georgene was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Caldwell. She had attended Walsh College in Canton. She was the treasurer for the Noble County Cattleman's association and a longtime employee of United Producers Sale Barns in Caldwell and Gallipolis. She loved tending to her flowers, gardening and farming, especially brush-hogging the pastures. She is survived by her husband Jim P. Mizik of the home, whom she married May 7th, 1977; One Son Jeremy Mizik of Caldwell; One Daughter Alicia (Chris Walter) Mizik of Sardis, OH; Expectant Granddaughter Brookelyn Nicole; Two Sisters Diane (Luke) Arnold of Marietta and Elaine Martin of Ossian, IN; One Brother Dan (Arlene) Macenko of Lower Salem and her faithful dog Taz. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Friday, August, 14, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 with a Vigil Service held at 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Caldwell, with the Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as Celebrant, where the services will conclude. In keeping with Georgene's wishes a caring cremation will be observed and the burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery will be held at a later date.
