George F. King, age 67, of Caldwell, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at his residence. He was born May 1st, 1941 in Noble County, Ohio a son of the late Glenn T. and Sara Hendershot King. George served in the National Guard, was a Noble Township Trustee and was employed for King Quarries and Limestone for over 47 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, farming but most of all enjoyed spending time with his Grandchildren and the Grand Dog Precious. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his step-mother Ruby King. Surviving are his wife Kittie Parks King of the home, whom he married January 27th, 1962; Daughter Kim Moore and Chris Thompson of Claysville, OH; Son Chris (Lori) King of Caldwell; Grandchildren Wesley Moore and Fiancee Sonya McClain, Casey Moore and Alisha Nalley and their son, Great Grandson Kaine Moore, Skyler, Addy and Libby King; Sister Janet (Dana) Watson of Cumberland; Step-Brother Jay (Marilyn) Boyd of Bremen, OH; Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. His dog and companion Precious. Friends will be received Saturday March 28, 2009 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Floyd Costello Officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Cemetery in Caldwell.
