Gary Rose

Gary E. Rose age 73 of Byesville, OH passed away suddenly at his home Monday, October 14, 2013. He was born August 30, 1940 in California a son of the late Wilford P. and Georgia M. Reed Rose.

He was a Union Carpenter for over 42 years. Gary was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his family, wife Janet Spring Rose, whom he married December 7, 1979; 2 sons Chris Rose of Byesville and Rusty (Sheila Malinak) Rose of Senecaville; 2 daughters Yvette (Ron Stillions) Rose of Byesville and Ginger (Kevin Ragsdale) Rose of Senecaville; 4 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 5 step-children Diana (Denny) Robertson of Cambridge, Cindy (Jim) Kirkbride of Newcomerstown, Lisa (Don) Berg of Byesville, Ruth Ann (John Walker) Stillions of Byesville and PJ (Carrie) Whiteley of Cambridge; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; brother Forest (Helen) Rose of Newark and sister Ramona Roberts of South Amherst, OH. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation will be observed. No additional services will be held at this time. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to the care of the family.
