Gary Dean Mcelroy Sr.

Gary D. McElroy Sr., age 77 passed away Saturday September 26, 2020 at his residence In Cambridge, OH surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 31, 1943 in Cambridge, OH a son of the late Earnest and Iola Vincent McElroy.

He was previously employed as Guernsey County Dog Warden, worked as a Security Guard with U.S. Security Associates, and retired from McKeen Security Company.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers, Dick, Paul, and Abe: and a sister Deloris.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Beatrice (Bea) Smith McElroy whom he married April 29, 1972: their two children Kim (Mike) Lynch and Gary McElroy Jr., and his significant other Leanna Kackley: Grandchildren, Alyssa (Nathan) Ingram, Micah ( Cory) Kennedy and Allie Faye: Great- grandson Myler Jo Dean; Siblings; a sister Wilma Gress and two brothers Eugene and Ernie McElroy. He is also survived by many family members and friends.

A cremation will be observed with no additional services held at this time.
