Edward “Ken” Kent Mallett age 63, of Caldwell, OH passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2026 at Altercare Summit Acres Skilled Nursing & Rehab in Caldwell, OH. He was born December 19, 1962 in Elyria, OH a son of the late Larry E. Mallett and Carol Willey Khune.

He was a 1981 Graduate of Caldwell High School. Ken loved garden tractors and mowing the yard. He was a sports fan and also enjoyed model car shows, demolition derbies, and dirt track racing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by special grandparents Clyde and Geraldine Willey; aunts Cheryl Cowgill and Karen Mallett.

Those left to cherish his memory are aunts and uncles Rodger (Joan) Willey of Caldwell, Judy (Charles) Poling of Caldwell, Larry Cowgill of Sarahsville, OH, Wende (Sam) Schott of Caldwell, Lynn Mallett of Caldwell, and Kevin Mallett of Hiramsburg, OH. He is also survived by many cousins and a large extended family.

Cremation will be observed and inurnment will be held at Dudley Cemetery near Caldwell at a later date, where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved grandmother Geraldine. Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 has been entrusted to care for the family.
