Edna L. Lee

Edna L. Lee, age 76 of Sarahsville, OH, passed away Thursday morning (Aug. 7, 2008) at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born July 14, 1932 in Marietta, OH, a daughter of the late Almer and Grace Elizabeth Davis Craig. Edna retired from Summit Acres Nursing Home, where she worked as a Nurse's Aide. She enjoyed cooking, country music and square dancing. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and other loved ones. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a Son Dallas Wayne Lee, a Sister Betty Holcraft and a Brother Ralph Craig. She is survived by Husband Howard D. Lee of the home, whom she married Sept. 16, 1950; 6 Daughters, Dorothy E. Moore of Cambridge, OH; Bonnie (Henry "Junior") Science of Marietta; Donna (Tommy Sr.) Tyson of Bradenton, FL; Billie Jo Groves of Caldwell, OH; Kimberly (Dave ) Hupp of Caldwell; Waynetta (Todd) Carpenter of Temperanceville, OH; Son David Allen Lee of Sarahsville; 21 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Sister Gracie (William) Breneman of Moses Lake, WA; 2 Brothers Leonard and Donnie Craig both of Marietta. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Saturday (Aug. 9, 2008) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Richard Heller Officiating. Burial will follow in Tunnel Cemetery near Marietta.
