Edith Wolverton

Her Legacy.... Edith Viola Wolverton, age 82, of Cambridge, OH passed away Friday Morning (Feb. 29, 2008) at Autumn Health Care in Cambridge, OH. She was born February 22, 1926 in Guernsey County, OH a daughter of the late Clarence and Alice Kirkbride Harden. Edith worked at Guernsey Memorial Hospital in Cambridge where she retired after 30 years of employment. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cambridge, OH. Her Family... Surviving are 4 Daughters; Cheryl (Roger) Berg of Byesville, OH, Cindy (Tinker) Harding of Byesville, Vicki (Terry) Dennis of Cambridge and Bobbi Galiamore of Byesville; 3 Sons, Mike Wolverton of Cambridge, OH, Benny (Gerri) Wolverton of Byesville and Chris (Cathy) Wolverton of Freeport, OH; Daughter-In-Law Julie Wolverton; 42 Grandchildren, 84 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Sister Barb Logwood of Cambridge and 1 Brother Robert Harden. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband Fred D. Wolverton Sr., 4 Sons Ricky, Steve, Tim and David Wolverton, 1 Daughter Susie Byard, 3 Sisters, 1 Grandchild and 1 Daughter-In-Law. Her Farewell Service... In keeping with Edith's wishes a caring cremation will take place and inurnment will follow at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Guernsey, Inc., P.O. Box #1165, Cambridge, OH 43725 in "Memory of Edith".
