Dorothy E Fowler

Dorothy E. Fowler age 92, of Caldwell, OH passed away Thursday Evening February 14th, 2013 at Summit Acres Nursing & Skilled Rehab. She was born December 9th, 1920 in Summerfield, OH a daughter of the late Fred and Etta Brister Yontz. She was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell. She loved to sew, spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She could often be found out shopping, going out to eat or working in her flowers. She was a Tupperware Dealer for many years and worked at Gray's Store and later the Clothes Tree in Caldwell. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Fowler, whom she married August 9th, 1941 and who passed away June 1st, 1988; 1 son Robert "Bob" Fowler; 2 brothers Harry Yontz and Joe Yontz and 1 infant sister Barbara Jean Yontz. She was loved and will be missed by her family, 2 daughters Barbara (Dave) Reed of Caldwell and Nancy (Dan) Moorehead of Marietta, OH; 4 Grandchildren Shawn Wiley, Kim Fowler, Nick Fowler and David Reed; 5 great-grandchildren Tyler and Collin Wiley, Casey Anderson, Taylor Peters and Brock Reed; step grandchildren Jayson, Nikki and Krissi Moorehead, Tammy Hill and Jennifer Reed. She is also survived by several step great grandchildren, sisters-in-law as well as additional extended family and friends. Friends will be received Sunday, February 17th, 2013 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724, with a Vigil Service to follow at 6:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 18th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, with Rev. Father Wayne Morris serving as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Caldwell.
