Doris A Ramsey

Doris A. Ramsey age 95 of Caldwell, OH passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family Monday evening October 14, 2013 at the Summit Acres Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Caldwell. She was born October 8, 1918 in Noble County, OH a daughter of the late Ernest and Ocie Ralph Keyser.

She was a member of the Caldwell Church of Christ, Sharon Grange, Good Neighbors Quilting Club and the Steel Worker Retirees. She worked at the former Gould Manufacturing Plant in Caldwell for numerous years, as the pie baker in the cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time quilting, crocheting and loved playing Bingo.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Walter E. Ramsey whom she married July 24th, 1948 and who passed away August 14th, 1986 as well as 3 sisters and 1 brother.

She was loved and will be missed by her family, 3 sons David (Joann) Ramsey of Marion, OH, Robert (Kathy) Ramsey and Randal (Deb) Ramsey all of Caldwell; grandchildren Sara (Scott) Hayes, Andrew (Sarah) Ramsey, Amie Ramsey, Kari (Josh Varhola) Ramsey, Krista (David) Hesson, Gabe (Beth) Ramsey, Quentin Ramsey and Tressa Ramsey; great-grandchildren Claire, Beckett, Mattie, Maelee, Kade, Jonah, Bryleigh and Ethan; brother Mitchell (Susan) Keyser of Caldwell; sister Lois Bonnell of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends will be received Friday October 18, 2013 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Saturday October 19, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Garrett officiating. Burial will follow at Sharon Cemetery in Sharon, OH.
