Donald Rex "Rooster" Harmon Jr., age 51 of Caldwell, passed away Saturday, September 18th, 2010 at his home. He was born August 1st, 1959 in Cambridge, OH a son of the late Donald R. Sr. and Martha M. Coyle Harmon. Rex was a member of Ragan's Chapel United Methodist Church and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2952 in Caldwell. He worked for several years on oil rigs and recently was a self employed drywaller. He was a NASCAR fan, an avid follower of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed spending time fishing. He will be missed by his family, 2 Daughters Carrie Harmon and Hannah Harmon both of Caldwell; 2 Special Grandsons Tristan and Jonas Arnold; 3 Brothers Charles (Madeline) Harmon of Coal Ridge, OH, Kenneth (Sandra) Harmon of Sarahsville, OH and Thurman (Sheila) Harmon of Hoskinsville, OH; 5 Sisters Shelba Jean Harmon of Cambridge, OH, Gloria (David) Beyers of Paulding, OH, Mary Allen of Caldwell, Alice Graham of Oklahoma City, OK and Vera (Neil) Nethers of Fredericktown, OH; Girlfriend Sarah DeLancey of Caldwell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Tuesday, September 21st, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724, with an Eagles Service conducted at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Sandra Payette officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service, with Inurnment to be held in Hoskinsville Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be directed to Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724 to assist with expenses.
