DiAnna Gillespie Braden age 81, of Caldwell, OH passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH. She was born January 9, 1938 in Cambridge, OH a daughter of the late William Wade "Bill" Sr. and Mary Gladys "Sitter" Evans Gillespie.

DiAnna along with her husband Jim were the former owners and operators of Gillespies Drugs in Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James E. Braden, whom she married May 9, 1959 and who passed away August 11, 2010 and a son William Bradley Braden who passed away January 13, 2018.

Those left to cherish her memory are 1 son Scott (Diane) Braden of Caldwell; grandchildren Kristen (Kyle) Huck, Lisa (Skyler) King, Laura (Aaron) Bridgman, Jamie (Clay Gillman) Braden, Chlo (Gunnar Vance) Braden, Brooke (Johnny Beckett) Braden, and Shayla Braden; great-grandchildren Colin Huck, Mya Huck, Audrey King, Leah Bridgman, James Bridgman, Jadyn Braden, and Carson Vance; 1 brother William Wade (Sally) Gillespie Jr. of Lexington, OH. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Friends will be received for visitation Monday, April 22, 2019 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A graveside service will follow visitation Monday, April 22, 2019 at 4:00 PM at the Olive Cemetery in Caldwell, with Jim Garrett officiating.
