David Munyan

David John Munyan Sr. age 67, of Belle Valley, OH passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH under the care of Dr. Nasser Ali. He was born August 14, 1957 in Zanesville, OH, the son of the late Casey and JoAnn Munyan.

He had a love for restoring cars, dirt track racing, and animals. David was a police officer for many years with numerous departments. Recently he was employed with Buckey Disposal. Beyond all else, he loved and cherished his family more than anything.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Janet Stradtman-Munyan, whom he married July 7, 2007; two sons David J. (Melanie) Munyan Jr. and Nicholas V. (Vanessa) Wilson; three daughters Nikki M. Ness, Angela E. (John) Saunders and Kaitlin J. (Troy) Work; a sister Patricia (Don) Cook as well as numerous grandchildren and a canine daughter, Sara.

Cremation will be observed. The family will have a benefit on September 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Caldwell, 532 North Street, Caldwell, OH 43724.
