Darrel L Devolld

Darrel L. DeVolld age 61, of Caldwell, OH passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born March 6, 1955 in Marietta, Ohio a son of Imogene Carrel DeVolld of Caldwell and the late Donald Lee DeVolld.

Darrel was self-employed in the timber business for many years and will be remembered as a hard worker. His family was always very important to him and seeing that they were cared for was his first priority. In his free time he could often be found tinkering with his69 Dart or enjoying an outing on his side by side.

In addition to his mother Imogene DeVolld, those left to cherish his memory are his wife Laurie Price DeVolld, whom he married August 15, 1980; a son Travis (Brooke) DeVolld of Caldwell; a daughter Tara (Sean) Moore of Caldwell; 3 grandchildren Tanner, Tate and Trae DeVolld; 2 brothers Carrel DeVolld and Donnie (Lashona) DeVolld all of Sarahsville, OH; 2 sisters Marsha (Brad) Patterson of Bushnell, FL and Kimberly DeVolld of Las Vegas, NV and his special dog Royce. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Dale Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Halleys Ridge Cemetery near Belle Valley, OH.
