Daniel R. 'Ron' Dugan

Daniel R. "Ron" Dugan age 77, of Quaker City, OH passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Southeastern Med in Cambridge, OH. He was born June 25, 1938 in Amsterdam, Ohio a son of the late Daniel D. and Irene May Dugan.

He was a Christian by faith, with the much appreciated guidance and prayers of his grandson and youth minister Ron Barker. He was employed for Ashland Corporation in Dublin, OH where he retired from following 20 plus years of service. He was an avid hunter and loved doing so with his wife, sons and best friend Bob Johnson.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife Mary Jane E. Nolte Dugan, whom he married January 26, 1958 and who passed away November 5, 2011; a son Daniel O. Dugan and 3 sisters Carol Emerick, Shirley Mcintosh and Kathy Barr.

Those left to cherish his memory are 2 Daughters Deborah Dugan-Barker of Quaker City and Theresa A. Dugan of Blue Rock, OH; 3 Sons John (Maureen) Dugan of Galloway, Tom Dugan of New Albany and Jared Dugan of the home. He was a loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren Matthew Dugan, Andrea Carpenter, Emily Hamilton, Stephanie Moore, Ron Barker, Kyle Dugan, Phillip Dugan, Christina Mattingly and Melissa Hebert; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters Joyce (Pete) Schott of Canton, OH and Nancy (Collins) Brost of Webb City, MO; 2 brothers Bob (Monique) Dugan of AZ and Tim Dugan of Columbus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 7, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 concluding the visitation at 5:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
