Dale R. Hanson

Dale R. Hanson age 81, of Caldwell, OH formerly of Beverly, OH passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born January 13, 1936 in Jackson Township, OH a son of the late Wallace and Bertha Stingel Hanson.

Dale always enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered, as someone who never met a stranger and who was always willing to offer a helping hand. He retired as an electrician, after 40 years of service at the DuPont Chemical Plant in Parkersburg, WV. He was a member of the Aurelius Lodge #308 F. & A.M. in Macksburg, OH.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 brothers Earl Wayne Hanson, John Hanson, and Lawrence Hanson; 1 sister Marjorie Calvert; companion of many years Ruth Boyd.

Those left to cherish his memory are his 2 daughters Kathie (Tim) Barker of Belleview, FL and Teri (Marc) Prpich of Atlanta, GA; 4 grandchildren Lee and Colby Barker and Kayli and Linzi Prpich; 1 brother Vernon (JoAnn) Hanson of Beverly, OH; his companion Ruths children Susan (Jody) Ewing of New York and Jeff Boyd of Caldwell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will be observed, with no additional services held at this time.
