Crandle 'Sonny' D. Treadway

Crandle D. Treadway "Sonny", 82 of Lowell, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 19th, 2019 at home peacefully surrounded by loving family. He was born on August 29th, 1936 to the late Ora and Ruby Treadway.

Sonny graduated in 1954 from Marietta High School. He held jobs working for Rich Loaf Bakery, Muskingum River Plant, as mail contractor for the United States Postal Service and was an owner of Brighter Day Natural Foods, where he worked until retirement. In his free time, he loved to farm and spend time with his family. He faithfully attended and was actively involved in the Church of God since childhood.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Norma Jean (Wagner) Treadway; a daughter Lisa Willey; son Darrin Treadway, daughter-in-law Holly Treadway; grandchildren Hannah, Sarah, Taylor, Reanna, Faith, Hope, Hunter, Jeffery, David, and Jennifer, and great-grandchildren Hayden.

Also surviving are twin sisters Loraine Oliver of California and Arlene VanBrunt of Oklahoma and sister Iris Treadway of Lowell, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Ora and Ruby Treadway, his son Larry Treadway, and brother Rev. Ronald Treadway.

The family would like to thank Doctor Kelli Cawley, Amedisys Hospice Team, especially Jan, Colton, Beth, Bev, Dwan, and Karen who were nurses and aide Chelsea. The family is thankful for everything they did for him. They would also like to thank Ruth who sat with him on Thursdays. Lastly, we cannot forget his 'Friday Buddy,' who went above and beyond, Maryann Moyers, as well as the singing chaplain Ron Calvert. Thanks to all. He loved you.

The Celebration of Life service will be held Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:00 PM at the Church of God, 501 Colgate Drive, Marietta, Ohio 45750.
