Charles F. Snyder

Charles F. Snyder age 70, of Caldwell, OH passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, Ohio. He was born November 11, 1946 in Noble County, OH a son of the late Fred and Nora Green Snyder.

Charles retired from the former Mahle Manufacturing Plant in Caldwell following 36 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He was an avid Ohio State Football fan and could often be found watching them on game day.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by 3 sisters Grethel Franks, Norma Jean Gattrel, and Freda Snyder.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Deborah E. Nichelson Snyder, whom he married March 15, 1975; daughter Nora Snyder of Caldwell; son Jonathon Snyder of New Concord, OH; 3 grandchildren; sister Verna Butler of Caldwell, OH. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Cremation will be observed and a memorial service will be held Monday, March 13, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, 609 West Street, Caldwell, Ohio 43724, with Rev. Jim Garrett officiating.
