Charles R. "Charlie" Feldner, age 70, of East Union, OH passed away Sunday (January 4, 2009) at the Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born June 12, 1938 in Noble County, OH a son of the late Henry and Mary Love Feldner. Charlie was a member of the Main Street Church of Christ in Caldwell. He served his nation in the Army National Guard and was retired from the Mahle Plant in Caldwell following 35 plus, years of service. He enjoyed farming, horses and spending time with his Grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a Son Michael Feldner, a Granddaughter Tiffany Feldner, a Brother Ed Feldner and a Daughter-In-Law Kate Feldner. Surviving are his wife Thelma R. Pryor Feldner of the home, whom he married December 13, 1964; 2 Sons Steve (Peggy) Feldner of Pleasant City, OH and Roger (Tonda) Feldner of East Union; 5 Grandchildren Michael, Steven, Brandon and Wyatt Feldner and Brittany (Nick) Noll; 2 Great Grandchildren Natilee and Nash Noll; 2 Sisters Shirley Butler of Thornville, OH and Betty Bates of Canton, OH; 3 Brothers John (Doris) Feldner of Norfolk, VA, Donnie (Bonnie) Feldner of Scio, OH and Gary (Ruthann) Feldner of Sarahsville; Daughter-In-Law Patty Feldner of Sarahsville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received Wednesday (Jan. 7th, 2009) from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. The Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers Craig Matheny and Frank Love Co-Officiating. Burial will follow in East Union Cemetery.
