Charles B. Clift age 85, of Sycamore Valley, OH passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at the OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH. He was born June 18, 1940, son of the late Forest Maxwell and Juanita Winland Clift.

He was a truck driver for most of his life working for various employers. Charles most enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Sandra Faye Neuhart Clift whom he married September 26, 1959 and who passed January 16, 1993; three sons Darrin Clift, Keenan Clift, and Nathan Jon Clift; three brothers William “Bill” Clift, twin Clyde “Butch” Clift, and Max Clift; daughter-in-law Roxann Clift.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons Charles T. Clift of Graysville, OH, Dwayne (Heather) Clift of Springfield, TN, Pat (Carol) Clift of New Concord, OH, and Anthony (Danae) Clift of Zanesville, OH; grandchildren Cassie, Charlie, Nick, Darrin, Pat, Christina, Ethan, and Peyton; several great-grandchildren; two brothers Robert “Bob” (Glenda “Tiny”) Clift of Palatka, FL, and Dennis (Elaine) Clift of Sycamore Valley, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services being held at this time. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Mt. Ephraim Cemetery where he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Sandra.
