Cathern Wade

Her Legacy.... Cathern Elvina Wade, age 87, of Caldwell, OH passed away Friday Morning (Jan. 11, 2008) at the Summit Acres Nursing Home in Caldwell. She was born August 30, 1920 in Baltimore, OH a daughter to the late Thomas and Laura E. Speaker Laney.

She enjoyed farming and was employed at Summit Acres Nursing Home for many years.

Her Family... Surviving are Three Sons Frank (Marjorie) Wade of Bergholz, OH, Robert Lee (Joyce) Wade of Cumberland, OH and Will Wade of Summerfield, OH; Two Daughters Bonnie (Leander) Crock of Caldwell and Saundra (Jack) Hopper of Cumberland; Many Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren; One Brother; Also Survived by several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a Daughter Lucy Miller; Two Sisters Lucy Laney and Floris Griffith; Two Brothers Earl Laney and Marvin 'Red' Laney.

Her Farewell Service... In Honoring Cathern's wishes a caring cremation will take place and the family will hold a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at a later date.
