Carol E Khune

Carol E. Khune age 74, of Pleasant City, OH passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at her residence. She was born April 7, 1942 in Noble County, OH a daughter of the late Clyde E. and C. Geraldine "Grammy" Porter Willey.

She was a member of the Summerfield Church of Christ in Summerfield, OH. She retired in 2012 from the Champion Spark Plug Plant in Cambridge, Ohio, following 30 plus years of service. She loved to garden and could often be found working in her flowers. She will always be remembered by her family for the many hours she spent caring for her mother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Duke Clayton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Noah "J.R." Khune Jr., whom she married July 25, 1983; 1 son Edward Kent Mallett of Caldwell; 1 brother Rodger (Joan) Willey of Caldwell; 3 sisters Judy (Charles) Poling of Caldwell, Cheryl (Larry) Cowgill of Sarahsville, and Wende (Sam) Schott of Caldwell; 2 sisters-in-law Patty (Butch) Vincent of Pleasant City and Mary Clayton of Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service held Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:00 PM in the Mt. Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Pleasant City, with Evangelist Jimmie Moore officiating.
