Beverly J. Paisley age 78, of Lower Salem, OH passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born October 18, 1947 in Cambridge, OH, a daughter of the late William and Mary Ball Wharton.

Beverly looked forward to playing cards at the Lower Salem Community Building every Tuesday, where she also volunteered at events for many years. Beverly often recalled memories of spending time in Germany and France when her dad was in the military. She loved playing cards and dice.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James “Jim” R. Paisley Sr. whom she married April 28, 1973 and who passed away on January 22, 2024; and a sister Marcella Bolton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Donald (Tonya) Paisley of Lower Salem, Timothy (Stacy) Paisley of Sardis, OH, Joyce (Don) Roffee of Cumberland, OH, James (Tanya) Paisley Jr. of Germany, and Michael Paisley of Cambridge, OH; nine grandchildren Gavin and Emma Paisley, Kaylee and Cody Sparks, Levi Paisley, Rachel, Sarah and Daniel Roffee, and Corey Paisley; three great-grandchildren and a brother-in-law Gerald Bolton of Hot Springs, AR. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, October 12, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jeff Belt officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Township Cemetery in Lower Salem, OH, where she will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, Jim.
