Barbara E. Zudell

Barbara E. Zudell age 79, of Ava, OH passed away due to complications from Cancer Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the Beckett House in New Concord, OH. She was born October 4, 1937 in Noble County, OH a daughter of Daisy B. Poland Buckley of Caldwell and the late Rodney E. Buckley.

She was a member of the Ava United Methodist Church in Ava and had most recently attended the Belle Valley United Methodist Church in Belle Valley, OH. She was a member of the Belle Valley United Methodist Women, Red Hatters and Brookfield Homemakers. Those that knew her knew she had a great passion for sewing.

In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband Arthur "Art" Zudell, whom she married June 28, 1958 and who passed away November 20, 1998 and a sister-in-law Doris Jeanette Buckley.

Those left to cherish her memory, in addition to her mother are 1 son Tom "T.Z." (Kim) Zudell of Caldwell, OH; 1 daughter Marilyn (Brent) Watkins of Cambridge, OH; 2 grandchildren Troy & Hannah Watkins; 3 step-grandchildren Angela (Jason) Rich, Jason and Curt Serdy; 2 great-grandchildren Austin and Arica Rich; brother Rev. Dr. Robert E. Buckley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends for visitation Monday, December 26, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chandler Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Joe Wright and Pastor Debbie Gheen co-officiating. Burial will follow in Hiramsburg Cemetery near Belle Valley.
