Austin C. Williams

Austin C. Williams age 85, of Caldwell, OH formerly of Massillon, OH passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his home. He was born January 25, 1936 in Slab Fork, WV a son of the late James E. and Pearl Hamilton Williams.

He served and protected his nation in the US Army. He enjoyed fishing and could often be found working in his garden. He retired from Republic Steel in Massillon, following 30 years of service.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by several siblings.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Faith C. Fisher Williams, whom he married November 29, 1999; 2 daughters Lisa Williams of Georgia and Jennifer Williams of Navarre, OH; 4 stepsons Rocky (Mernee) Grove of Caldwell, Melvin Grove of Palmer, AK, Glen Richard Grove of West Virginia, and Doyle Grove of Plainfield, OH; 5 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 3 siblings Ruby Ewing of Beckley, WV, Bo (Linda) Williams of Lester, WV, and John (Frances) Williams of Slab Fork. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Cremation will be observed with no additional services held at this time. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
