Alan P. Hicks

Alan. P. Hicks age 45 of Caldwell, OH passed away Saturday November 22, 2014 at his residence in Caldwell. He was born October 18, 1969 in Cambridge a son of Iris Fogle (Martin) Bates of Zanesville and the late Arthur Paul Hicks.

He was a Christian by faith and enjoyed working in the garden, fishing and model airplanes. He was employed as a security guard for Ohio Support Services of Columbus, OH.

Those left to cherish his memory, in addition to his mother are 2 sons Michael Hicks of New Concord and Brett Hicks of Caldwell. He is also survived by several step-sisters, step-brothers, half-sisters and half-brothers.

Friends will be received Monday, November 24, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chandler Funeral Home, 609 West Street, Caldwell, OH 43724. A funeral service will be held Tuesday November 25, 2014 at 10:30AM at Chandler Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Victor Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in Barrys Ridge Cemetery.
